Cowboy Heaven Miniature Horse Safe Haven

Cowboy Heaven Tiny Horse Safe Haven was founded in Montana when they accidentally saved their first two miniature horses, Minnie and Winnie. Since then, the concept of creating a safe home for miniature horses has evolved into more animals, dogs, goats, bigger horses, and sheep.

Cowboy Heaven recently purchased land in Nevada to give their animals a second chance away from abuse and neglect. They look forward to building and expanding their little corner of the world to continue providing these animals with veterinary care, food, water, open grounds, warmth, and companionship.

Tiny Tails K-9 Rescue Inc

They specialize in orphan, abandoned, and discarded litter as a 100% volunteer organization. They work from foster homes and have extensive training in caring for ill and wounded animals and bottled infants.

They cover the entirety of Montana and will accept unique situations from shelters in Idaho, Wyoming, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Tiny Tails is an organization that operates from foster homes and is entirely comprised of volunteers.

In 2020, they introduced two rescue corals for neglected or mistreated cattle. There is no facility here.

Their rescues typically need particular care when they come to them, and they’ve found that giving them that care in a home rather than a cage works best for them.

Sunnyside Farms, Inc.

Their main goal is to produce grey Fjord Horses since it is believed that this hue is recessive and is associated with a mild temperament. However, the heart of the program is a team of amazing grey Norwegian Fjord Horses. According to an ancient Norwegian proverb, “If you want a reliable good’ horse, search for a grey.”

Since 2002, Smedsmo Gren, their senior stallion, has been the driving force behind Fjord Horses in America. Following his second examination in Norway, when he was awarded premium breeding status, Phil Odden imported “Smeds.”

In 2015, Sunnyside Farms had the good fortune to provide this magnificent horse with a lifelong home owing to the very kind donation from Cara Whitney. They have cherished every second.

4 Paws Rescue

South of Cardwell, Montana, on Jefferson Island, there is a non-profit organization called 4 Paws Rescue. Right now, they don’t have a place to stay. One volunteer foster home provides care for all the available animals.

Their goal is to reduce animals’ senseless, cruel suffering and to instill in their community a greater sense of compassion for the other living things that share their world. Until everyone has a secure, loving home, they work hard to locate homes for each of them.

Building a shelter in Madison or Jefferson County is their priority! Their goal is to have it operational and manned by kind individuals.
