He asks Malone to assist him in capturing Capone, but Malone warns him that pursuing Capone will lead to war. Capone tries to apprehend them as they progress, but they are inaccessible.

He tells his uncle Wilhelm that Havana is his wife. To live together, they are forced to marry in the community. Peter conceals the money to compel Havana to remain with him. Unfortunately, Peter is killed in a car accident.

Main Plot: Roy Chutney, a high school student in Blue Springs, Montana, is starting to lose his way in life due to two simultaneous events. The first is the death of his father, Nelson Chutney. Nelson was killed by a train, but Roy’s mother, Evangeline Chutney, with whom Roy has a strained relationship, believes he committed suicide. Second, because the school’s funding has limited the football program to just a varsity team with no junior varsity, Roy, along with half the other players, has been removed from the football squad. His coach believes he is not mentally tough enough, even though he is a skilled player.
