Bear Trap Canyon Hike
A lovely stroll across a scenic landscape before beginning the actual hiking begins a few miles into the trail.
Approximately 3.5 miles into the hike, after passing the log river, the path enters the woods and quickly becomes highly overgrown.
The journey is 15 miles round-trip, but you can go as long as you wish as an in-and-out hike.

Bridger Bowl Ski Area
Bridger Bowl is one-of-a-kind in every way!

On the edge of Bozeman, the spectacular M Trail climbs up the south side of Baldy Mountain!
The “M” represents Montana State University, and the 250-foot white granite letter was built by MSU students in 1915.
The right branch, which leads to the M, is steep and follows the crest.
The left branch to the M is a smoother ascent with switchbacks.
Go right at the first intersection for the sharp and direct ascent; go hard left for a gentler and longer ascent.
The easier path has a few options, depending on whether you want to struggle on rock or stay safe on parts that have been fixed up.
