Despite his apparent reliance on breaking the law, H.I. is loyal to those he cares for. So, he proposes to HELLO after his final release from prison. They get married and start a new life in the Arizona desert. H.I get a legitimate job as a welder and machinist in a factory. At the same time, HELLO continues her police work until they decide to start a family. However, HELLO learns that she cannot have a child with H.I.
