Main Plot: When a horrific catastrophe causes veterinary student Jacob Jankowski played by Robert Pattinson, to quit school, he is just about to graduate. He boards a passing train since he has nowhere else to go and discovers it is owned by a traveling circus. As an animal caregiver, Jacob encounters the stunning circus dancer Marlena in the character of Reese Witherspoon. They fall in love because of their common sympathy for Rosie, a particular elephant.
