For several circumstances, many dogs find up in shelters or rescue organizations like theirs. The German Shorthaired Pointer Rescue PA, Inc. is a non-profit organization that has received IRS recognition that cares for and places GSPs in responsible homes around Pennsylvania.

Since 1984, Animal Advocates has served the Pittsburgh region, has always had a no-kill policy and has been active in community-based animal activism.

Hello Bully
As a rescue organization exclusively for American Pit Bull Terrier survivors of dogfighting, Hello Bully was founded in 2005. Thanks to what they’ve learned from pit bulls over the years, they now have the knowledge and tools necessary to assist more pets.
They will always be a location where Pit Bulls may find help, affection, and healing. They welcomed all breeds into our rescue in 2020.
They focus working on reducing animal overpopulation and preserving the human-animal connection. Hello Bully’s objective is to rescue and rehabilitate canine survivors of dog fighting, abuse, neglect, and natural and man-made calamities and offer aid to all companion animals of underprivileged areas. At Hello Bully, they receive dogs with both behavioral and medical problems.

Bridges From Kuwait
Around May 2020, Bridges From Kuwait became a recognized organization. Tarra Provident learned about Kuwait’s animal abuse through a Facebook post in December 2019.
She contacted a Virginia-based cat rescuer to find out how to begin relocating animals from Kuwait. When the first batch of cats arrived at Tarra’s house in January 2020, she quickly understood that helping them was the most satisfying thing she could do.
Bridges From Kuwait also tries to raise awareness of the maltreatment of animals in Kuwait by bringing cats over for adoption. They operate as a 501c3 non-profit.
They do not restrict adoptions to Pennsylvania alone since they want to find our cats the finest homes possible.

Forever Home Beagle Rescue
They are a tiny 501(c)3 no-kill beagle rescue located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Most of their dogs are last-minute rescues spared from definite and impending death in nearby high-kill pounds.
Every dog they take in is immediately spayed or neutered, given all required vaccines, and tested for and treated for heartworm and other parasites.
Their dogs are housed in foster homes where they are socialized and trained because they do not have a shelter facility. When you are ready to meet a dog, they will gladly bring them to YOU!

Conquer the Colony
Three self-assured cat women, Kelly, Elizabeth, and Erin, founded Conquer the Colony. Conquer the Colony was created due to kindness, good fortune, and a little assistance from the internet.
A kitten was the beginning, and a kitty, too, and Another kitten, too. At first, they believed the TNR task was minor, and they would soon be “done.”
They discovered the Colony was enormous and required extensive neutering right once! They turned to the internet for assistance after realizing that the colony situation was far worse than anticipated.
Conquer the Colony was thus created. Since July 2019, CTC has operated as a stand-alone TNR and cat-fostering team.
After that, they fostered, adopted, and TNR hundreds of cats.

Oakland TNR Coalition
The Oakland TNR Coalition was established in 2019 with an emphasis on TNVR in Oakland, Pittsburgh, and the surrounding areas. It is a volunteer-run, foster-based 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue.
Their mission is to provide proper vet care for feral, stray, homeless, and abandoned cats through TNR and to educate the public on the significance of the Trap, Neuter, Release program.
By giving homeless cats and kittens a secure temporary home, you may help save lives. They try to make the procedure as simple as possible while maintaining open lines of contact and assistance.
