Pay a visit to this island, perhaps the most exciting destination in Maui, Hawaii!

It’s a sanctuary of calm and serenity, a haven for anyone seeking a break from the island’s bustling tropical feel.

Maui’s upcountry region has a farm, which provides an alternative to the typical Hawaii experience.

Ali’i Chang, an Agricultural Artist and Horticultural Master, designed AKL’s 13.5-acre farm, located around 4000 feet.

Though lavender is not native to Maui, it has adapted beautifully to the spectacular mountain slope.

AKL’s lavender thrives in Kula’s Mediterranean climate, blooming all year in the chilly, dry weather.

A loving friend sent Ali’i lavender in 2001. Being an excellent gardener, he planted the herb with the best plans, hoping it would breathe and enhance AKL’s beautiful work of beauty!

You may get anything from lavender scone mix to lavender strawberry minty jam and even lavender lip butter at this gift shop’s collection of items.

If you’re looking for an amazing trip today, come to Maui and discover its underwater wonders by diving 100 feet below the surface!

Atlantis Cruises unveils Hawaii’s next generation of cruise ships for sunset dinner cruises and special events off the coast of Oahu.

Majestic, the ship’s name, accurately describes its personality and the legendary waters through which it sails.

This is a safe and comfortable way to see coral reefs and other aquatic animals in their native habitat.

A highlight of this submarine excursion is the opportunity to visit the Carthaginians.

Maui’s underwater ecosystem benefits from the presence of a sunken ship that has been converted into an artificial reef.

The Carthaginian, a model of a 19th-century whaling ship, was safely destroyed by Atlantis in 2005 after a government-approved project.

This historic schooner in Lahaina Harbor was originally a floating whale exhibit.

The Carthaginians were scheduled to be sunk at sea because of costly repairs.

Hana lava tubes

This is a fantastic family adventure. Fun and devoid of mosquitoes and bats make it a safe place.

Lava rivers flow beneath the surface of the earth, and this tube is the result of their efforts.

The cave was formed roughly 960 years ago, and it is thought that only about half of it has been explored to this day.

Though there are no bats within the cave, it contains such remarkable structures and regions as the fallout shelter, lava stalagmites, and a chocolate corridor of stalactites. Even blind cave invertebrates like millipedes, crickets, and flatworms can also be seen here.

From 1950 to 1970, the cave was primarily used as a dumping ground for cow bones from a slaughterhouse in the area.

Since no crust formed on top as lava flowed down, lava could continue hovering over it for another two years.

They believe that just around half of the cave has been explored.

The Kaeleku Caverns is one of the top attractions in Hawaii.

This is Maui’s largest and most attainable lava tube, with many unique features that make it a must-see for people interested in geology or caves!

On the outskirts of Hana, heading back near Kahului, there is a tiny roadside sign for the lava tube.

The entryway seems like it belongs in someone’s back garden.

There are informational signs along the way, and the tube is relatively high except for one little section where you must bend down to get under the roof.

The cave ceiling is 30-60 feet thick in most places, making it so robust that it was initially slated to be a government fallout shelter.

Also, it can house up to 15 people as a fallout shelter for the 16 weeks they’d have to stay underground.

The beautiful, gloomy Ka’eleku Cave is a lovely diversion from the usual Road to Hana excursion.

Children love it, and the majority of the cave is large enough that even claustrophobics will have no trouble.
