Baja Animal Sanctuary aims to offer shelter for mistreated, neglected, and in-need animals who come through their doors. They want to end these pets’ suffering, enhance their quality of life, prevent pet overpopulation by spaying and neutering, and find them permanent, secure, and loving homes.

Dogs and kittens can find refuge at Baja Animal Sanctuary, the only no-kill shelter in northern Mexico. After being rescued from Mexico’s streets, they are given food, medical attention, and affection for the remainder of their lives.

They are spayed and neutered once the puppies are old enough or the ill ones are healthy enough. Their ultimate desire is to find each of them a forever home.

The “un-adoptable” animals will make BAS their permanent home if this cannot be done because we are a no-kill shelter. Untreatable dogs and cats may occasionally be put to sleep to end their misery.
