Pug Rescue of Korea
While every effort is made to keep the pugs in their place of origin, their re-home rate in Korea is quite low. They are a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization with the sole goal of finding permanent homes for rescued and unwanted pugs in both South Korea and the United States.
The pugs are then flown to Los Angeles, California, to find their everlasting homes in these situations.
They are a team of devoted volunteers with offices in California and South Korea.
Each country has roughly 3–4 consistent volunteers. Therefore, none of their volunteers receive compensation for their work, which they complete solely on their own time and at their own expense.

Small dog rescue Saving Shibas Inc., a California corporation. Their canines are saved from shelters, abuse, abandonment, and unstable families.
Every dog that is saved undergoes evaluation, neutering or spaying, complete vaccinations, and microchipping. The dogs are placed in the homes of their volunteers, where they get care in a family setting and are socialized with people and other animals (as applicable).
The dog’s health, temperament, and behavior are all assessed for about 10 to 16 weeks. An IACP (International Association of Canine Professionals) accredited dog trainer may occasionally enroll the Shiba Inu in a training program for behavior improvement.
