She knows that Hunt just works in a traffic department not until a threat has been sent to them upon the trouble brought by the death of his agent. Hunt was sent on his last mission to capture Davian, who was selling a toxic weapon called rabbit’s foot. Despite Hunt’s legendary tactics and skills, Davian is savage and reckless, and his cruelty led many deaths, which are now directed to the death of Hunt. This mission seems impossible as Davian uses all his resources to find his fiancé and kill them. The mission seems typical, but it’s a lot more dangerous, kin, and impossible. Most especially, it made everything more intense due to its personal touch.

Famous quotes:

Ethan Hunt: I’m part of an agency… called the IMF.

Julia: What’s that stand for?

Ethan Hunt: Impossible Mission Force.

Julia: [chuckles] Shut up.

Luther Stickell: Was there something more going on between you two?

Ethan Hunt: Lindsey was like my little sister.

Luther Stickell: And you never… slept with your little sister, right?

Ethan Hunt: Blow the car.

Zhen: Oh, it’s such a nice car.

Ethan Hunt: And yet, do it.

Luther Stickell: [convincing him not to get married, like a broken record] Don’t do it, Ethan.

Ethan Hunt: Luther? Julia and I got married two days ago.

Luther Stickell: Well, congratulations!
Brassel: Mr. Musgrave, please don’t interrupt me when I’m asking rhetorical questions.

Sequel: Mission: Impossible II, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Mission: Impossible, Mission: Impossible – Fallout

Fun Fact about Mission: Impossible II:

  • As the production could do nothing about inquisitive crowds watching them while they were filming in Rome, they set up a phony second unit a little further away, hired several girls in bikinis and several older women dressed as nuns, and pretended to be filming takes for the film. In contrast, the main unit got on with their business largely undisturbed.

Main Plot: This movie depicts the true story of Captain Richard Phillips and his experience on the hijacked American cargo, which set a record for non-happening for 200 years. The Somali pirates of the U.S.-flagged MV Maersk, Alabama, dominated the cargo. The event started as the said cargo freighter passed the coast of Somalia, where some men in a motorboat started to give a lot of shots at it. Then, Captain Phillips thought these men were pirates, so he kept them away from the ship but failed to do so because he was outnumbered. As they could get in touch with the bridge heading the cargo, they demanded money, so Phillips offered what they had that time, but the pirates tended to ask for millions. Since the amount seems cannot be provided by Phillip, he thought of taking the crew hostage for ransom. But since the crew hid, they went off to find them until Phillips was found to be the leader of the cargo. The others were sent to lifeboats in demand of Phillip while he was captured and kept. On their way to Somalia, the U.S. Navy recklessly tried to stop them even though Phillip’s life was put on the bait.

Famous quotes:

Muse: Look at me.

Captain Richard Phillips: Sure.

Muse: Look at me.

Captain Richard Phillips: Sure.

Muse: I’m the captain now.

Captain Richard Phillips: There’s gotta be something other than being a fisherman and kidnapping people.

Muse: Maybe in America, Irish. Maybe in America.

Muse: It was supposed to be easy. I take ship… ransom… nobody get hurt.

Captain Richard Phillips: You had thirty thousand dollars, and a way to Somalia. It wasn’t enough?

Muse: I got bosses. They got rules.

Captain Richard Phillips: We all got bosses.

[repeated line]

Muse: No problem Irish. Everything gonna be okay.

Muse: Last year I took a Greek ship. 6 million dollars.

Captain Richard Phillips: 6 million dollars? So what are you doing here?

Muse: Shut up, Irish. Too much talk.

Captain Richard Phillips: The problem isn’t me talking. The problem is you not listening.

Fun Fact about Captain Phillips:

  • In real life, one of the men from Richard Phillips’ crew sued him after the incident. He claimed that Phillips was well aware of the danger in the Somali waters but went in anyway, endangering all of them because he wanted to get the shipment to the harbor faster, even though the shipping company itself sent him a note advising him to avoid the Somali seas.

Despite the principal’s perception, Bueller made his plan, resulting in an epic mess. He, his girlfriend Sloane, and his best friend Cameron made their way to an adventure of their life in Chicago by saying that he was sick. Ed Rooney, the principal, knew Ferris was playing hooky for the day, and he planned to catch him, but Ferris anticipated t, and he made much more plans for him and his sister. They had taken so much about relatable tricks as the movie plans to remind us that this is what we thought when we were at that age. It gives a fun and naughty twist, making this movie much more appealing.

Famous quotes:

Ferris: Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Ferris: Cameron has never been in love – at least, nobody’s ever been in love with him. If things don’t change for him, he’s gonna marry the first girl he lays, and she’s gonna treat him like shit, because she will have given him what he has built up in his mind as the end-all, be-all of human existence. She won’t respect him, ’cause you can’t respect somebody who kisses your ass. It just doesn’t work.

Ed Rooney: Ed Rooney.

Cameron: [disguising voice as George Peterson] Ed. This is George Peterson.

Ed Rooney: How are you today, sir?

Cameron: [voice disguised] Well, we’ve had a bit of bad luck this morning as you may have heard.

Ed Rooney: Yeah I heard, and man, I’m all broken up, boy, what a blow.

Cameron: [disguised] Yeah. Yeah. Well, uh, it’s been a tough morning and we got a lot of family business to take care of, so if you wouldn’t mind excusing Sloane, I’d appreciate it.

Ed Rooney: Uh, yeah, sure, no I’d be happy to, yeah you, uh, you you just produce a corpse, and uh, I’ll release Sloane. I wanna see this dead grandmother first hand.

Grace: Ed?

Ed Rooney: It’s alright, Grace, it’s Ferris Bueller the little twerp. I’m gonna set a trap and let him fall right in it.

Grace: Ooh!

Cameron: [disguised] I’m sorry, Ed, did you say you wanted to see a body?

Ed Rooney: Yeah, that’s right, just, uh, roll her old bones on over here, and I’ll dig up your daughter. You know that’s school policy.

Cameron: [disguised] Oh.

Ed Rooney: Was this your mother?

Cameron: [disguised] Uh, no my wife’s mother.

Grace: [picks up ringing phone] Ed Rooney’s office.

Ferris: Hi this is Ferris Bueller, can I speak to Mr. Rooney please? Thank you.

Grace: [caught off-guard] Uh… hold.

Ed Rooney: Tell ya what, dipshit. If you don’t like my policies you can come on down here and smooch my big ole’ white butt.

Grace: ED!

Ed Rooney: Pucker up butter-cup.

[to Grace]

Ed Rooney: What?

Grace: Ferris Bueller’s on line 2.

Ferris: Pardon my French, but Cameron is so tight that if you stuck a lump of coal up his ass, in two weeks you’d have a diamond.

Grace: Oh, he’s very popular Ed. The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wastoids, dweebies, dickheads – they all adore him. They think he’s a righteous dude.

Sequel:  Sam and Victor’s Day Off

Fun Fact about Ferris Bueller’s Day Off:

  • During the parade, several of the people seen dancing (including the construction worker and the window washer) originally had nothing to do with the film. They were simply dancing to the music being played, and John Hughes found it so humorous that he told the camera operators to record it.

Dr. Leo Marvin: You think he’s gone? He’s not gone. That’s the whole point! He’s never gone!

[Leo opens the door; there’s Bob]

Bob Wiley: Is this some radical new therapy?

Dr. Leo Marvin: YOU SEE?

Bob Wiley: [speaking to workers in a mental hospital] It reminds me of my favorite poem, which is, “Roses are red, violets are blue, I’m a schizophrenic… and so am I!”

Bob Wiley: [telling a joke] The doctor draws two circles and says “What do you see?” the guy says “Sex.”

[everybody laughs]

Bob Wiley: Wait a minute, I haven’t even told the joke yet! So the doctor draws trees, “What do you see?” the guy says “sex”. The doctor draws a car, owl, “Sex, sex, sex”. The doctor says to him “You are obsessed with sex”, he replies “Well you’re the one drawing all the dirty pictures!”
