He finds a man who can follow his dreams, and they record a song together. Shortly after, he embarked on a brief promotional tour for his music and met the already well-known and stunning June Carter. Then, as they embark on extended treks with June, the lads, and Jerry Lee Lewis, they have an unconscious discussion about this developing connection. However, he was a drug addict due to his actions when June left the tour. His marriage is also in trouble when he runs across June at an awards ceremony years later. He coerces her into joining them on tour once more, offering to support her two children and himself. As time continues, June and John’s friendship develops further, and his marriage to his first wife ends. When June learns about the drugs, she helps him get over it. John finally stopped using drugs thanks to genuine love and care, and he then proposed to her in front of a crowd at a performance.
