Main Plot: When their mother was put up, Bobby (Mark Wahlberg), Jerry (Andre Benjamin), Angel (Tyrese Gibson), and Jack (Garrett Hedlund) learned. She was killed as a result of Jerry’s business. Victor Sweet, a notorious neighborhood criminal, was warned by Jerry to avoid his place of business. The mother walked down and confronted the police and councilman. Their mother reported a crooked cop, Fowler (Josh Charles), who then forwarded the information to Victor Sweet. Then, Victor had Evelyn murdered. Jerry informs the brothers of this, but an ambush catches them off guard. When Jack is taken outside, he is shot in the legs and pinned to the ground. While Bobby and Angel murder most of the guys and Jerry stabs one to death, Jack cries. When Bobby arrives at Jack, he sees him dying. The brothers are informed by Lt. Greene (Terrence Howard) that Fowler is filthy and that he will take care of it. Fowler shoots Greene to death, and the incident is staged to appear as a gang shooting. The three brothers devise a scheme that results in the ice. Jerry would receive a check for $400,000 from Victor Sweet’s life insurance as payment for his services. Jerry changes the whole deal and pays off Victor’s bodyguards to turn against him. While Angel sets up Fowler, Bobby enters the ice and beats Victor to death.

Main Plot: Austrian homosexual fashion expert Brüno. He hosts Funkyzeit, the most well-known German-language program of its sort outside of Germany, a fashion-focused television program. He is destroyed in German-speaking Europe after embarrassing himself in front of his Funkyzeit fan base. He decides to relocate to Los Angeles and reinvent himself to achieve global stardom. Lutz, his previous assistant, travels with him to the United States. The lone member of his group who continues to think well of Brüno is Lutz. Brüno continually reinvents himself, eventually veering off in directions that are far different from who he is. Perhaps Brüno will discover that über-fame when he discovers a hobby he enjoys.

Concerning prices, standards, and wages. He looks at why Nixon supported HMOs in 1971 and why the Clintons’ reform efforts in the 1990s were unsuccessful. He discusses French services with American ex-pats in Paris. Clinton transported three 9/11 clean-up workers to Cuba for medical attention after they suffered respiratory issues. Who are we, he asks of Americans?

The issues arise from the children’s recent adulthood and their more contemporary perspective on life.
