Golden Retriever Rescue of El Paso

In the interim, as they wait to be adopted into a permanent home, their organization is dedicated to keeping pets secure, content, and healthy. Since they are a foster-based organization, their rescue dogs are temporarily housed with foster families around the city and its environs to get care and attention.

They are groomed, trained in basic instructions, and transported to the vet for a checkup so they are prepared for their new home. While they wait to meet their permanent families, most of our foster families allow the rescue dogs to play with other dogs.

Their foster families carefully monitor the children’s temperament, demeanor, and activity level, which helps them determine the type of family that might suit them. They aim to match the dog’s temperament and activity level to the adoptive family so they can quickly form a lasting attachment.

    West Texas Tails Rescue

Welcome to West Texas Tails Rescue’s story! Baby Ruth and Khaleesi, two of our devoted girls, serve as the inspiration for our organization.

White pitbull Baby Ruth was discovered to be pregnant in the desert. When she was found, she was already showing indications of distress, but things swiftly became worse.

Baby Ruth was on several different drugs. Despite never really calming her anxiety, the drug did help her to manage it.

Her parents chose to assist her in crossing the rainbow bridge after four years. Khadija, a stunning blue pitbull who weighed about 30 pounds, was discovered in the lower valley.

When her parents came across her at an animal shelter, they knew she had to go home with them right away. Khaleesi thrived in her new setting and even started to play a significant part in her pack.

After surgery, she received a diagnosis of hemangiosarcoma but recovered completely and had a normal life for the next 2.5 years. Sadly, cancer returned with a fury.

    From the Heart Rescue

Helping people unable to assist themselves was the foundational idea behind From the Heart Rescue. This idea developed and became a second opportunity for thousands of abused, neglected, and abandoned animals.

Since its inception in January 2004, From the Heart Rescue (FTH) has been committed to providing senior and disabled animals with life-saving procedures. Other organizations are unable or unwilling to give them the drugs and specialized care they need.

FTH also cares for injured and frightened animal victims of disease, accidents, cruelty, and neglect.

Their goal is to offer the love and care they never had until a permanent home is found for the mistreated and special needs dogs with nowhere else to turn.

    Law N Paws

Law N’ Paws is a distinctive animal rescue organization El Paso Police Detective Vanessa Acosta founded in 2017. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, they have saved more than 200 animals that have been the victims of abuse and neglect.

Detective Acosta started looking into incidents of animal abuse and neglect, which led to the development of Law N’ Paws. She quickly realized that she had to go above and above to assist animals in need on her own time.

She started paying for the rescue animals’ necessary medical treatment out of her cash. Law N’ Paws was established following the successful rehabilitation and placement of Raven, the first rescue puppy, in a permanent loving family.

After becoming aware of animal abuse, brutality, and neglect incidences, Law N’ Paws has continued to offer the urgently required medical treatment. But it goes further than that.

They also ensure that each animal they rescue is microchipped, vaccinated, and spayed or neutered. But without the help of the community, they could not do this.

They sincerely seek your assistance as they solely rely on contributions. Your contribution, whether money or desperately needed goods, will enable them to carry on their mission of healing and love.
