The Cat Posse<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
In Southern California, a group known as The Cat Posse is committed to saving and rehabbing abandoned and mistreated cats. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
As they work toward the day when all public shelters are “no-kill,” they educate our communities about the significance and belief that all animals deserve respect and kindness. The Cat Posse is entirely run and driven by a team of committed volunteers who rescue, care for, foster, and place cats for adoption. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
110 of the 200 cats in their current care are available for adoption. In their shelter, 50% of the cats are ten years old or older, and many have special requirements. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Kitten Rescue non-profit organization is dedicated to helping homeless cats and kittens find loving homes. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
They save cats and kittens that would otherwise be put to death at the Los Angeles City Shelter. Over 25,000 cats have been kept and placed in loving homes since they first started in 1997.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
The primary activities at Kitten Rescue revolve around the rescue, fostering, and adoption of cats and kittens. This is done to stop them from passing away on the streets or being put to death in L.A. City Shelters. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Until they can find permanent homes, most of them reside in our volunteer foster homes. At the Kitten Rescue Sanctuary in Atwater Village, some cats require special attention, are elderly, or are not likely to find homes reside.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
