The American Saddlebreds and Quarter Horses, Miniature Horses, Arabians, and Paso Finos are among their glorious breeds. Their past reining shows include the Great Escape Winter Slide, Great Summer Slide, and Heritage Classic.

As the name implies, Katy Heritage Park is a re-creation of Old Town Katy, with an old village setting.

The park is part of the Katy Heritage Society’s efforts to restore the historical landmarks of the old town. Its buildings include the historic post office and mess hall from the 1943 Katy Gas Field of WWII.

The doors of five historic Katy homes in the heritage park are open to all visitors. Whether in the Wright House or Stockdick House, these structures will take you a hundred years back!

Located near Katy, Texas, Mason Creek Park offers a 1.5-mile or 3,500-step route for hiking and biking. With a 0-foot elevation and concrete paved path, this trail is considered easy and suitable for all ages.

Enjoy the scenic view of the creek while walking the asphalt loop trail, which takes about 45 minutes to complete. It’s one of the best walking trails in old Katy, especially during the summer. You’ll get a gorgeous view of the sunset at this time of the year, in addition to the warm air.

There are two ways to access and complete this trail. One is from the south, while the other is north.
